The NC Division of Aging and Adult Services approved the Kerr Tar Area Plan. The “Plan” is effective from July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2020. The Division’s Reviews Team conducted a through review of the plan and determined that it is comprehensive and recognizes the efforts by the Area Agency on Aging to improve access to services and promotes the well being of older adults, caregivers and their families. The Review Team identified the plan’s strength’s to increase capacity for outreach to caregivers and minority populations in the region.
