NC Outdoor Recreation Industry Office hosts Listening Session in the Kerr-Tar Region

On May 21, David Knight, Director of the new NC Outdoor Industry Office with the Department of Commerce, held a listening session in the Kerr-Tar region at the Granville County Expo Center. Over 35 industry representatives from across the region were present to discuss assets and opportunities for supporting and growing the outdoor recreation sector.

NC Outdoor Recreational Industry Office Listening Session May 21st

Mr. David Knight of the Outdoor Recreation Industry Office located in the North Carolina Department of Commerce,  will be conducting a listening session in the Kerr-Tar COG region on Monday May 21, 2018 from 10:00 am until noon at the Granville County Expo Center located at 4185 US-15 South, Oxford.  Please feel free to share this information with area industries, educational institutions, chambers, tourism officials, elected officials, city and county managers that may have an interest in learning more about the functions of this office.  This is a rapidly growing market for North Carolina and offers the Kerr-Tar region unique opportunities.  This event is coordinated in conjunction with the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina.
