Triangle Literacy Council and Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments Workforce Development Board to Start Construction Pathway for Area Young Adults

DURHAM, N.C. (March 1, 2018) – Today the Triangle Literacy Council (TLC) and the Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments’ Workforce Development Board announced the launch of a Regional Construction and Skills Trades Career Pathway for young adults, ages 16 to 24, in Henderson, NC. The 24 week-long program, called Constructing Pathways to Prosperity, will offer three integrated components to area young adults: high school equivalency preparation, occupational training, and construction work-based learning.

NCDOT Survey

The North Carolina Department of Transportation is conducting a survey to find out what North Carolina residents think about various services provided by NCDOT. This survey is part of the department’s efforts to measure performance and provide high quality services. Results from this survey will be used to identify ways NCDOT can make North Carolina transportation safer, more efficient, and customer-focused. The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete.
