The KTRPO has proposed the following division needs transportation projects to be considered for inclusion in the 2020-2029 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). Aerial maps of the project are available for public viewing below. The points assigned by the KTRPO were done in accordance with the adopted Local Input Methodology. Public comments will be open for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days. Project Submitted by NCDOT Division 5: H172189 – Div. 5 Non-Municipal Division Wide Signal System
Project Description: Add cameras & fiber to signals in Division 5 which are outside municipal systems & upgrade software & add equipment to enable monitoring of signals. Proposed Project Locations: Wake, Granville, Person, and Franklin Counties.
The projects outlined above, were submitted to NCDOT at the Division Needs level. These projects cascaded from the Regional Impact category.
