North Carolina Association of Regional Councils of Governments Seeking Executive Director
The North Carolina Association of Regional Councils of Governments (NCARCOG) is a statewide association that represents the interests of all 16 Regional Councils of Governments (COGs). NCARCOG is seeking applications for the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of the NCARCOG and is responsible for administering and directing the association’s regular operations.
Applicants must have a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Rural Planning, Political Science or Business Administration. Desired qualifications include a certificate in municipal or county administration from the North Carolina School of Government and a minimum of 10 years experience as a lead administrator in local, regional, or state government.

KTRPO Feasibility Study
The Kerr-Tar Rural Planning Organization is looking for a NCDOT-prequalified consultant to develop a Feasibility Study to conduct a corridor study to determine the feasibility of constructing the Granville County portion of the East Coast Greenway from the City of Oxford to the Town of Butner. The Request of Letters of Interest [RFLOI] can be found here. The deadline to receive RFLOI’s is 5:00 pm on September 30, 2021.
